HELLO AND WELCOME! Don’t panic, my caps lock isn’t broken, I’m just really excited! I’m not going to get involved in why the new site has begun because it’s a long, irrelevant story, nonetheless,  we’ve started a new website after amalgamating the Chinese & Indian Super League sites of old and decided to create one super site for all the leagues in Asia.

One Huge Hub Of Asian Football

Yes, you read that right. We debated on whether to keep them separate or not, but the consensus ended up being to create one huge hub of Asian football, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

Now, you’re probably thinking, “Jake, you couldn’t possibly do that because there are so many leagues to keep track of”, well, what I say to you is, watch this space. It’s not going to happen overnight and nor am I that disillusioned to think it will, nevertheless, by hook or by crook, we’ll get there.

So, if you’re looking for some information on the aforementioned Indian Super League or something a little bit more peculiar such as the latest results from the Cambodian Second League, then this will be your one-stop-shop. If you catch my drift.

Blueprints Are Overrated

All of this won’t be done on my ones thankfully as I think it would eventually send me round the bend, although, some would argue that I’m there already.

If I was to tell you that there were some firm blueprints set in place for the success of the site then I would be lying, blueprints are overrated in my eyes and I feel the best ideas happen when there are no plans in place whatsoever.

What I can tell you is, there will be some seriousness and there will be some satire along the way as we look at all four corners of Asia and there’ll be previews, reviews, predictions, analysis, opinion pieces, so on and so forth.

Christmas Has Come Early

To be totally honest, I am a bit like a kid at Christmas as it’s completely unknown territory and I’ve no idea what is going to happen, but I guess that’s what makes it all the more exciting.

If you’ve made it this far in this article, then firstly, congratulations. Secondly, do us a favour, follow us on Twitter at @FootballAsiaUK and bookmark the site. That way, you can tell all your mates that you heard about the site before everyone else because it’s going to be massive. Famous last words.

Until the next time.

Good day to you. I'm (50%) in charge of the other idiots on this website, so if you've got a problem with anything that anyone else has said, speak to Ola! If you've got a problem with something that I've said, you'll just have to deal with it. I adore football and I love writing, so it only seems right to combine the two of them, don't you think? I can be serious when I write, I can also be very satirical and on the odd occasion the two will cross over and the lines become incredibly blurred. Enjoy yourself.
